Physical Education

Welcome back to the 2024-25 school year! I am so excited for this year and the teamwork that will happen in the gym. My name is Colleen Brewer and I am the PE teacher at Sagebrush. This is my fifth-year teaching and my third year at Sagebrush! I am so excited to be a leopard again this year and I can't wait to get to know your students and grow with them this year. In my free time you can find me hiking, playing softball, hanging out with friends, and enjoying different sporting events throughout the year (Go Packers!). 

This year we are going to increase our knowledge of striking, kicking, throwing and catching, volleying, dribbling, and my personal favorite cardio drumming just to name a few. In my classroom, I like to build a strong community of teamwork and problem solving as a whole group as well as individually. I believe that kids in the elementary level need to explore the different ways teamwork and being a team player can really help them become more successful not only in my classroom but in their homeroom as well. I am so excited to work with your students this year.
