Ms. Dianna Montano

Hi everyone, my name is Ms. Montano and I am the art teacher here at Sagebrush Elementary. I have lived in Colorado for over 21 years and I've been teaching art for over 13 years. I grew up in New Mexico, but I moved here to attend Colorado State University, where I earned degrees in sculpture and art history. I then moved to Bozeman, Montana to get a degree in art education, and then finally UNC to get my Masters Degree in Art & Design. 

As you can tell, my passion in life is in art, and I am so fortunate to be able to have a job to serve students and to be able to make art with them every day at school! Beyond my job, I am married and have two kids, and the cutest dog named Quincy! 

When I'm not teaching or making art you might catch me kayaking, hiking, cycling or playing pickleball. I wish all of you the best school year here at Sagebrush and I can't wait to see you in class!
