Ms. Dianna Montano

Hi everyone, my name is Ms. Montano and I am the art teacher here at Sagebrush Elementary. I have lived in Colorado for over 21 years and I've been teaching art for over 15 years. I grew up in New Mexico, but I moved here to attend Colorado State University, where I earned degrees in Sculpture and Art History. I then moved to Bozeman, Montana to get a degree in Art Education, and then finally UNC to get my Masters Degree in Art & Design. 

As you can tell, my passion in life is in art, and I am so fortunate to be able to have a job to serve students and to be able to make art with them every day at school! I enjoy celebrating the amazing artistic creations from all our students and I look forward to hosting fun events such as the annual Sagebrush Art Show, the Cardboard Carnival, and art activities at STEAM night. 

 When I'm not teaching or making art you might catch me kayaking, hiking, cycling or playing pickleball. I have two kids in CCSD and the cutest dog named Quincy! I wish all of you the best school year here at Sagebrush and I can't wait to see you in class!
